Community Education Events
At community events, our Think Liver Think Life® team provides engaging, hands-on education about liver health and wellness. We connect with liver patients, their families, and the broader community to share the programs and resources offered by American Liver Foundation, and include a free, family‑friendly activity for children and adults to enjoy.

- 1,837 New Yorkers died from liver disease/cirrhosis in 2023.
- 7 per 100,000 of new cancer rates in New York are liver and intrahepatic bile duct cancer.
- 903 liver transplants were performed in 2025 with 542 people currently on the waiting list and 44 people who died waiting.
- 10% of adults in New York have diabetes.
