FIB-4 is a test that can be used to assess your risk of liver scarring (liver fibrosis). It is calculated using routine blood work, including your age, liver enzymes and platelet count. This test should be calculated if you are at risk for MASLD.
Do you need someone to talk to about living with liver disease? Or navigating life after transplant? Do you need someone to talk to about being a caregiver for someone with liver disease? Are you interested in becoming a liver donor or sharing your liver donor experiences with others? Join Caring Connections—an ALF peer to peer support program!
